7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Seminar

On May 1, 2018, the Ontario Government introduced new laws to encourage the use of electric vehicles as part of Ontario’s plan to fight climate change.

These laws will potentially impact every condominium corporation in the province. While they may make it easier for owners of electric vehicles to charge their automobiles, the new laws will also potentially make the burden on all types – high-rise, mid-rise, low-rise, townhouse, and everything in between – of condominiums steeper. Everything from hydro usage to charge point infrastructure to the logistics of where to put the chargers will need to be considered by Boards of all stripes.

Come and hear how the legislation impacts your home; what options for charging stations are available now and anticipated in the future; and what your condominium can do to get ahead of the curve for planning purposes.

Sponsorship for this event is available for $200
