Upon completing her business degree, JJ worked in the agricultural and insurance industries before joining Wilson Blanchard in 2017. JJ quickly adapted to the condominium management industry and has excelled at managing high-rise, townhouse and vacant land sites in addition to commercial condominium properties. She also has a great deal of experience dealing with Tarion first year projects. JJ obtained her RCM designation in 2020 and assists in training, recruiting and mentoring new condominium professionals within the organization.

With a passion for civil litigation, Megan joined the team at Elia Associates in 2013. Megan represents condominium corporations and unit owners in a variety of unique civil, corporate, commercial, and quasi-criminal matters relating to the operation of condominium corporations. With a view to giving back to the greater condominium community, Megan regularly volunteers her time to write or speak on matters relating to and impacting condominium corporations in Ontario.

Megan’s competitive edge was honed from eight years spent as a member of the Canadian National Team in figure skating. Always a team player, Megan currently sits on the Board of Directors for her condominium building. Before joining Elia Associates, Megan worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General in the area of criminal law and as a member of the geological team in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Patrick is a partner in the Condominium Law group at Shibley Righton LLP, offering both solicitor and litigation services to condo clients. He advises Boards and Property Managers on day-to-day issues, emphasizing clear communication, empathy, and a touch of humour. With a strong background in construction law, Patrick has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court, Court of Appeal, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. He assists with everything from tendering to litigation, including Tarion warranty appeals. Patrick serves on several CCI committees and frequently speaks at conferences and industry events.
