CCI GHC Call for Nominations
The Position:
We’re seeking passionate leaders who know the condominium community and have demonstrated dedication to the growth and success of the Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute. Every member benefits from being part of CCI—now we invite you to take the next step by shaping the future of our chapter and advancing your own professional journey through service on the Board of Directors.
As a Board member, you’ll help guide the strategic direction of the institute and strengthen our mission to lead the condominium industry through education, information, awareness, and access to trusted expertise. Your voice and experience will directly influence the programs, resources, and initiatives that support our members across the region.
Board Members play an active and meaningful role, including:
- Upholding the Director Code of Ethics, available in the members-only section of the CCI‑GHC website: https://cci-ghc.ca/membership/ members-only/code-of-ethics.
- Attending approximately 10 Board meetings per year via Zoom.
- Representing the Golden Horseshoe Chapter at national CCI events.
- Participating in one or more chapter and/or national committees.
- Contributing as a speaker or volunteer at seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Championing Golden Horseshoe Chapter initiatives and promoting upcoming events.
- This year, there are three (3) three positions available on the Board of Directors for a three (3) - year term.
The Process:
Email a brief bio outlining your experience in the condominium community and how that will benefit the GHC-CCI along with a photo (headshot) to admin@cci-ghc.ca
Photos must be submitted in digital form; photographs must be JPEG-format files of at least 300 KB but no more than 2MB.
Nominees MUST be current members of the Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute.
The Deadlines:
The schedule for elections to the Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute Board of Directors is as follows:
- Nominations Open – July 13, 2026
- Nominations Close – 5pm on September 18, 2026
- Notice of AGM to Members with list of Candidates – October 5, 2026
- Voting of Candidates (if required) – November 6, 2026 at the Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, in conjunction with the the Professional & Business Partners ever popular Lunch & Learn session. Further details will be provided once confirmed.
